THE STUDIO ANALYSES SOCIETY’S CURRENT AND CONVERGING THEMES AND EVER-CHANGING DYNAMICS, AND INTERPRETS THEM TO FORM NEW ARCHITECTURAL PARADIGMS THAT ARE SUCCESSFULLY APPLIED AT DIFFERENT SCALES TO THE STUDIO’S PROJECTS. THE BREATH OF THE EXPERIENCE MATURED INTERNATIONALLY IN DIFFERENT DESIGN DISCIPLINES ALLOWS THE STUDIO TO HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL APPEAL, AND HAS CONTRIBUTED TO DEFINING A CLEARLY RECOGNIZABLE OUTPUT CHARACTERIZED BY A STRONG UNDERLYING CONCEPTUAL AND ARTISTIC CONTENT. Federico started studying architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, to then move to London in 1997 to further his studies in architecture at the University of Westminster and at the Architectural Association. He started working at Grimshaw Architects in 2001 to work on the detailed design of the award-winning Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, Australia and Paddington Train Station Phase II in London, UK.


Federico joined Foster+Partners in 2003 to work on the detailed design of Florence high-Speed Railway Station, develop the concept and scheme design for the New Globe Theatre on Governors Island, NY, and design FAENA’s Art district latest residential addition. He was made an associate in 2007 and took a key role in the design and delivery of 52 Lexington and Copenhagen Towers, respectively a 220 m. high-rise 5* hotel and serviced apartment tower in Manhattan and an office development in Copenhagen, DK.

In 2010, after gaining his Professional Studies at the Architectural Association  and becoming an ARB/RIBA Registered Architect, he  joined Zaha-Hadid Architects to deliver  the concept design for a 5 Star Hotel development in Cairo to be built next to the New Cairo Expo Building.

From May 2011 until September 2017 Federico collaborated with Rem Koolhaas’ OMA on the detaied design and site delivery of BLOX, a highly publicised Mixed use project in the heart of Copenhagen containing residential, offices, retail and exhibition areas.

He currently acts as the Creative and Managing Director of D’ANGELO STUDIO, a multidisciplinary Practice working on Architecture, Interiors and Branding, overseeing all operations.

Linda graduated from the Business Coach Psychotherapy School of Copenhagen in 2013 and joined D’ANGELO DESIGN STUDIO in September 2017 to work alongside the founding partner and bring her decade long experience in hospitality to the studio. She combines a talent in dealing with figures with a unique sensibility towards new and upcoming trends in the ever-growing hospitality sector and is responsible for creating tailored packages to suit potential clients, which include planning and structuring hotel projects both on the financial and operational side from the feasibility to execution stage. Strong of her experience in the hospitality industry she is in parallel implementing a Danish Hotel Group strategy in Italy, defining the business plan and operations of their upcoming Italian hotels.

Gabriele Marelli graduated from his Master’s in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2000 with a thesis in “Technological transfers between architecture and fashion”, with a focus on advanced textiles. He was a resident tutor at the Polytechnic of Milan in the department of Fashion and the department of Science of Communication until 2007.

He has direct experience of design and construction, is a registered architect and a member of the Ordine degli Architetti (IT), and currently teaches a variety of Master level courses in the field of Interior design and Product design at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni, a world-renowned Fashion and Design school with branches in Milan, Florence, Paris, London and Shanghai.

Gabriele started collaborating with the D’ANGELO DESIGN STUDIO in 2016 to work on Branding and Interiors projects.

Anna Paola Ramorino graduated from her Master’s in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2004 with a thesis in “Industrial Architecture”. She is a registered architect and a member of the Ordine degli Architetti (IT), and throughout her career has collaborated with high profile design studios both in Italy and the UK.

Anna Paola combines a creative vision with technical and construction knowledge, has direct experience of all design stages from concept to construction, and in the last 15 years in practice has worked on projects at different scales including new built housing and office developments, medium size retail and residential interiors.
